PolyU awards certificate of appreciation
PolyU Hosts “Service-Learning Appreciation Reception” to Recognize Generous Donation from United Chinese Enterprise Social Responsibility Foundation (UCESR)
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) hosted the “Service-Learning Appreciation Reception” on 29 January 2026, officiated by President Professor Teng Jinguang. During the event, Professor Teng presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the United Chinese Enterprise Social Responsibility Foundation (UCESR) in recognition of its generous donation of HKD 20,000 to support the PolyU Service-Learning Fund.
This donation provides important resources for PolyU’s service-learning initiatives and helps foster students’ commitment to social responsibility and community service. Through service-learning, students are able to integrate professional knowledge with social practice, cultivate a caring spirit for the community, and enhance their ability to solve real-world problems.
PolyU has long been dedicated to promoting service-learning and supporting a wide range of local and overseas projects through the Fund. These initiatives enable students to experience the University’s mission of “Serving the Community with Knowledge” in diverse cultural and social contexts. The support from the United Chinese Enterprise Social Responsibility Foundation (UCESR) further strengthens PolyU’s efforts in nurturing socially responsible talents.
